TENNESSEAN: GOP FAKED VOTER REGISTRATIONS
October 6, 2006 - 07:27
A screaming front page headline in the Tennessean today proclaims "Voter Registrations Faked In GOP Drive." It appears that about 5 registrations in Nashville and another 3 or 4 in Williamson County are being examined. This just one day after the State Elections Coordinator refused to even examine state rolls to remove illegal aliens illegally registered to vote. (The Tennessean ignored that story, by the way.) Here's an idea: let's clean it ALL up!! Not just selectively target stories that help one political party or another. CLICK HERE. |

GALLUP: FORD TAKES LEAD IN TENNESSEE SENATE RACE.
October 6, 2006 - 07:30
A new USA Today/Gallup poll shows Democrat Senate nominee Harold Ford, Jr. moving into a slight lead over Republican opponent Bob Corker, 50-45. The disturbing aspect of this poll from the Corker standpoint is the fact that it indicates that Ford has taken a significant lead among "moderates." Can the staff changes that the Corker campaign instituted earlier this week change the trend in time to win? CLICK HERE.

BLACKBURN SAYS HASTERT RESIGNATION NOT NECESSARY.
October 6, 2006 - 07:34
Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn has condemned Congressman Mark Foley and anybody who helped cover up his IM solicitations of pages, but she does not side with those who want to remove Speaker Dennis Hastert from his position over the scandal. Interestingly, nobody was talking about Nancy Pelosi stepping aside as Democrat leader when one of her charges, Louisiana Congressman WIlliam Jefferson (D) was found stashing bribe money in his freezer. THE DEVIL IN THE DETAILS ABOUT "THE FENCE".
October 6, 2006 - 08:21
Republicans are touting legislation that approved construction of a fence along the Mexico-U.S. border. But they also included a loophole to prevent it from actually being built as promised. I warned you not to get too excited about this "important move to protect our border." All talk, no action. CLICK HERE. |

October 6, 2006 - 14:17
The Foley aftershocks are already claiming additional victims. Well, at least bringing others into the light of day. Whether any of the Democrats who are found to have done the same thing as Foley will be forced to resign their own party leadership positions remains to be seen. CLICK HERE. |
