President Bush today ordered that 14 terrorists currently held by the CIA, including 9-11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed, be transferred to Department of Defense custody. The men will be held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba at the detention facilities. Another indication of the power of this issue is the fact that Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen is now pushing a need to deal withillegal immigration after spending the last legislative session fighting Republican legislation that would have made it tougher on illegals in Tennessee. CLICK HERE.

Finally, a little polling also reveals that Americans clearly see illegal immigration as an important issue. In fact, 71% of us see illegal immigration as a threat to America. An assistant football coach in California violently assaulted a 13 year old player on the other team after that player was flagged for a late hit on the coach's son. The coach has been charged with a criminal assault, but the parents who came out of the stands and started a brawl deserve the same charges. CLICK HERE.
