MIAMI SHOOTING GENERATES A LOT OF TALK.
December 8, 2005 - 09:42
Six days ago a potential shoe bomber was detained, and later released, by airport security in New York. The FBI had issued a nationwide alert to find the man, which may have been one reason the air marshalls in Miami reacted so aggressively to the bomb threat. CLICK HERE.

BUDGET CUTS MAKE THINGS TOUGH ALL OVER. BUDGET CUTS MAKE THINGS TOUGH ALL OVER.
December 8, 2005 - 09:44
Not sure what military or police organization this is, but apparently some of the guys are having to make do without actual weapons. This is serious training however, as their thumbs are in the "cocked" position. Must be a "live fire" exercise.

EVEN MORE CHRISTMAS NITWITTERY. EVEN MORE CHRISTMAS NITWITTERY.
December 8, 2005 - 09:44
A Wisconsin school did not like the words to "Silent Night," so they changed it to "Cold In The Night." CLICK HERE.

TOLERANCE FROM THE LEFT AT UCONN.
December 8, 2005 - 09:45
At the University of Connecticut 100 protesters disrupted a speech by Ann Coulter, forcing it to be cut short. The 2,600 students who had showed up to hear her lost out to the intolerant Left. Typical, as Ann says. Why is the Left so afraid of what conservatives have to say? If 100 conservatives heckled and disrupted a campus speaker they would have been arrested. CLICK HERE.

THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS REALLY COMING AROUND. THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS REALLY COMING AROUND.
December 8, 2005 - 09:45
25 years ago the mainstream media pitched a hissy fit when the Reagan Administration proposed a bureaucratic rule to classify tomato ketchup as a vegetable for the purposes of calculating school lunch nutritional value. This week, CBS sent out an email "Inside Scoop" that included a "Did You Know" fun fact. The fact? "4 tablespoons of ketchup has the same amount of nutrition as a ripe tomato." Sooner or later, usually later, even the media figures out the truth. CLICK HERE.

MEMPHIS NATIVITY UPDATE.
December 8, 2005 - 09:46
The latest ridiculous assault on Christmas comes from Memphis, where a public library put up a small nativity scene, but then decided that Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus couldn't be included. All that left was some farm animals and a shephard with a sheep over his shoulder. That's not a nativity scene, it's a barn. Wednesday afternoon the Mayor of Memphis intervened to put Mary, Joseph and Jesus back in the scene. Apparently there IS at least ONE wise man in Memphis. CLICK HERE.
