AS PREDICTED THE STIMULATION PACKAGE HAS GONE UP ABOUT $20 BILLION IN COST.

Actually, the Senate showed amazing restraint in ONLY boosting the cost for the so-called stimulus package to $170 BILLION. The original package was going to cost future taxpayers $150 BILLION. When you are spending money you don't have, Congress clearly doesn't think an extra $20 Billion matters. And keep in mind that the Senate Democrats wanted to increase the package to $200 BILLION! By the way, the checks that are a critical part of this "immediate" and "critically urgent" stimulus plan won't be sent out until MAY!! |
