DICK MORRIS DEFENDS ABC DOCU-DRAMA.
September 8, 2006 - 12:29
Nobobdy knows more about what went on in the Clinton Administration than Dick Morris. He says the controversial ABC film scheduled for airing Sunday and Monday night accurately recounts the Clintonistas failure to deal with terrorism, and specifically the refusal to accept the offer to take Osama Bin Laden into custody. The Clintons, as usual, are covering up the truth, and the Mainstream Media is once again letting them get away with it. CLICK HERE.

HOUSE REPUBLICANS OFFICIALLY KILL SENATE AMNESTY BILL.
September 8, 2006 - 12:31

Finally!! This was an action long past due. Now maybe they will start to actually PASS some legislation to stop the flood of illegals and not stop at just blocking bad legislation from the Senate. CLICK HERE.

MONA CHAREN SAYS BUSH IS BACK.
September 8, 2006 - 12:33
Maybe, but a couple of speeches won't be enough to turn around public opinion after months of letting the Left propagandize about how we are losing the war on terror. Actions speak louder than words. CLICK HERE.

BUSINESS AS USUAL ON CAPITOL HILL.
September 8, 2006 - 12:38
New investigative reporter Trent Siebert, or at least new to News 2 WKRN, opens things up with a blockbuster story about indicted State Senator Jerry Cooper receiving $35,000 in so-called loans from a lobbyist a few years ago. The documents from the lobbyist indicate that the money was a "loan," and it was never repaid. Jerry Cooper never reported the "loan" as required by law. If it wasn't a loan, it was clearly a bribe. Either her broke the law by failing to report the loan, or he broke the law by accepting a bribe. Senator Cooper needs to come clean about which law he broke. Will the other media sources around the state pick up on this, or cover up for another crooked Tennessee legislator? CLICK HERE.

CHRIS MATTHEWS COVERS UP ARMITAGE LEAK STORY.
September 8, 2006 - 12:47
Chris Matthews, of MSNBC, was all over the Valerie Plame leak story as long as he could (falsely, as it turned out) blame Karl Rove and Scooter Libby for revealing that Plame worked for the CIA (although not in a covert position, meaning it would not have been a crime to do so). But now that Bush critic Richard Armitage has ADMITTED to being the leaker Matthews thinks the story is "too complicated" to touch. "Too complicated?" Riiiiiiight. CLICK HERE.

COURIC CONTINUES TO LOSE VIEWERS.
September 8, 2006 - 12:51
The debut of Katie Couric as the news anchor for CBS was a big hit. But keeping the audience has already proved difficult for Katie. In New York City ABC 'World News' beat her last night; the same results in Philly and Chicago. Nationally she remained in the top spot, but has seen ratings drop every single night since she first started. The more America sees, the faster they change the channel. By the time she finally picks a signature exit line, there may be nobody watching to see it.

CLEANLINESS MAY REALLY BE NEXT TO GODLINESS.
September 8, 2006 - 12:55
Showering may not only clean your body, it may help to clean your concience, too. At least that is what researchers are saying. I wonder if the research was funded by a soap or shampoo company? CLICK HERE.

40 YEARS OF TREKKIES.
September 8, 2006 - 13:11

40 years ago today the first episode of Star Trek aired. It has since spawned numerous films and four other television series. Even today, thousands will gather to put on their Trek gear and listen to Kirk, Spock, Sulu, or "just one of the guys in a red uniform" recount their experiences on the show. I was a fan, but I never bought or wore a pair of Vulcan ears...and never will. CLICK HERE.  Star Trek - USS Enterprise

DOES SEX REALLY SELL?
September 8, 2006 - 13:20
Researchers say that women respond better to ads featuring "wholesome" women rather than "sexy" women. Uhm, doesn't that just mean that most women are not lesbians? Afterall, I don't spend money because a good looking, sexy guy touts a product. But if a sexy woman says "buy this and girls like me will find you exciting and appealing" then most guys will fall for it. That's why beer ads don't feature ugly women in the bars where guys are drinking. And I am not sure the researchers are right about how women respond, either. Most women don't look like Victoria Secret models when they wear the underwear, but they still flock to the stores to buy it. CLICK HERE.

APPROPRIATE CELEBRITY DEATHS.
September 8, 2006 - 13:26
Stuff Magazine gave some thought to some appropriate celebrity means of death, in the wake of Steve Irwin getting killed by a stingray. I'm guessing there was some drinking involved when they wrote this one up. CLICK HERE.

THIS GUY OBVIOUSLY DID NOT WATCH ENOUGH CRIME SHOWS ON TV.
September 8, 2006 - 16:31
All the television crime dramas teach us one thing: there is no perfect crime, or at least one that can't be solve in one 60 minute episode (or 120 minutes if it is a season-ending cliff hanger). A radio host in New Orleans apparently failed to recognize that even in real life, cops can solve a murder when the murderer is REALLY stupid. CLICK HERE.
