GIVING MONEY TO POOR PEOPLE DOESN'T CHANGE WHO THEY ARE.

There are plenty of examples of lottery winners who end up broke. HERE is another one. Redistribution of wealth, via government or the luck of the draw in a lottery, is only a short term redistribution. Poor people are usually poor for one or more of the same reasons that render other poor people poor: bad decisions, laziness, ineptitude, irresponsibility, poor work ethic, etc. Giving them money they haven't earned doesn't change those characteristics...so soon the money goes away and they revert back to their previous status. There are some exceptions...but they are few and far between. It is why Obamanomics will not work...except to expand his socialistic/communistic political base of those looking for something for nothing. |

The University of Tennessee is already paying Phil Fulmer $6 million dollars over the next four years; so why are they kicking in an extra $12,000 a month to keep him on the payroll for three more months as an advisor to the University President?
