Judge Alito should become Justice Alito sometime early this morning. The vote to allow an up-or-down vote for Alito was not even close, 72-25. The highlight of the filibuster attempt was the complete meltdown by Ted Kennedy. They are not going to go down! China's demand for oil is rising exponentially, as is India's. The more they need, and want, means more pressure in the equation of suppy and demand. The Democrats smear campaign against State Rep. Judd Matheny in Tennessee is apparently not an isolated incident. In Minnesota Congressman John Kline, a 25 year veteran of the U.S. Marines, has been depicted in a nazi uniform on the website of his Democrat opponent. When Republicans challenge the TRUTH about Congressman John Murtha the media goes nuts; but when the Dems LIE about a Republican Congressman all we hear are crickets. An increase in terrorist "chatter", combined with the recent release of a tape from Osama Bin Laden, has some intelligence experts convinced that the Super Bowl may be a target for terrorism.
