BILL BENNETT UNDER FIRE FOR SO CALLED RACIST STATEMENT.

As usual, there is more to the story. Here is Bennett's full quote: "If you wanted to reduce crime, you could -- if that were your sole purpose -- you could abort every black baby in this country and your crime rate would go down. That would be an impossibly ridiculous and morally reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down." Bennett was pointing out the fallacy in reasoning in the pro-abortion argument made in a new book in which the authors claim that abortion has helped reduce the U.S. crime rate. CLICK HERE.

A noted economist and a NYTimes Magazine writer claim that easier abortions, in the wake of Roe v. Wade, have reduced the crime rate. Thus, the argument does, abortion is a good thing. By pointing out the illogical tie between truth and morality, in come cases, Bill Bennett is branded a racist...by simply reciting an argument from the left. Ridiculous. CLICK HERE.

HUD CHIEF: REBUILT NEW ORLEANS WILL BE MORE WHITE

Alphonso Jackson, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, said yesterday that New Orleans will not get back to its pre-Katrina population of 500,000 people for a long time, and that even then the city will likely not be a majority black city like it was.
