OBAMA CALLS ON FDIC INSURANCE LEVELS TO BE RAISED TO $250,000 IN DEPOSITS.
September 30, 2008 - 14:16
Hmmm, wouldn't somebody with $250,000 in cash in a bank account be "the rich" that Obama always attacks? Why is he looking to help them while declaring anybody who earns that amount in a year to be subject to punitive income taxes? I guess he doesn't dislike the rich, only those who are WORKING to become rich. CLICK HERE. And when he and his fellow Democrats eliminate the Bush tax cuts and reinstate the Death Tax, then anybody who dies with that amount in the bank will see half of it go to the government in taxes, right? Why isn't he worried about THAT?

PELOSI'S BIG MOUTH BEFORE BAILOUT VOTE KILLS THE BILL!!!
September 30, 2008 - 07:32

The House has voted down the controversial $700 billion bailout plan that House Democrats were shoving down the throats of the Congress while engaging in political grandstanding. That's NOT the way to win a "bipartisan" vote. CLICK HERE. Pelosi gets the blame for this failure. She is totally unwilling to put her country ahead of her liberal partisan impulses. CLICK HERE. Republicans are right to blame Pelosi for giving them the opportunity to kill this atrocity. CLICK HERE.

And be sure to check out this flashback of Dems fighting against tighter regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. CLICK HERE.

SEVERAL REPUBLICAN SAY PELOSI'S COMMENTS DID NOT COST ANY VOTES.
September 30, 2008 - 09:45
They may have voted against the bill with greater passion, but most Republicans in the House say Pelosi's speech didn't actually shift any votes away from the bill...it was going down in flames anyway. CLICK HERE.

HERE IS A LINK WITH THE VOTE BREAKDOWN!
September 30, 2008 - 07:31
Congressman Lincoln Davis was the ONLY Tennessee Democrat to vote "no." Clearly he sees himself as having a tough race when he balks at a deal that Nancy Pelosi wants. CLICK HERE. It needed a twelve vote swing, so look for Davis to get a lot of pressure to change his vote when they bring it up again.

IS THIS CRISIS BEING OVERSTATED?
September 30, 2008 - 07:55
We were told by the "experts," you know, the same ones who CAUSED this crisis, that if we didn't pass the bailout by Friday then the stock market would crash and lose one-third of its value on Monday. CLICK HERE. It did drop 777 points, about 6%, but that is not 33%. Have they lied to us to get more cash into the pockets of their Wall Street buddies? CLICK HERE.

DID PELOSI THROW THE GAME?
September 30, 2008 - 09:02

It looks like Pelosi actually wanted the bill to fail! Way to put your country first, Nancy. CLICK HERE. This really ought to boost that 9% approval rating for Congress, don't you think? CLICK HERE.

Lobbyists also took a hit yesterday! CLICK HERE.

CONGRESSWOMAN MARCY KAPTUR NAILS IT!

At least one member of Congress gets it! CLICK HERE.

And another one gets it, too. CLICK HERE.

But Newt Gingrich explains it best! CLICK HERE.

BAILOUT VOTE DIVIDES TENNESSEE CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION.
September 30, 2008 - 07:47

Lincoln Davis was the only Democrat to vote against the $700 billion bailout bill. All the other Tennessee Democrats walked in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi. All of the Tennessee Republicans rejected this boondoggle. CLICK HERE.

The House members facing the toughest reelection prospects were among those who voted "no." Unfortunately, only those who face firing are willing to listen to their constituents rather than those who stuff cash into their pockets in Washington. This is why we need to fire a LOT of these nitwits this Fall. CLICK HERE.

September 30, 2008 - 07:31
