December 2, 2008 - 07:24
East Tennessee Republican House Minority Leader Jason Mumpower is poised to become Speaker after being nominated by his party caucus on Monday. CLICK HERE. The Republicans also nominated Naifeh Republican and pro-income tax State Rep. Steve McDaniel as their choice for Speaker Pro Tem, the number two spot in the House Leadership. Apparently, years of backstabbing and carrying bags for the Democrat House Speaker is what Republicans saw as the proper route to party leadership. It was a secret ballot, but will the Republicans who voted for McDaniel fess up or hide behind the secrecy of backroom deals while denying that deals have been cut?

I guess the media decided this information might not have been helpful to electing President Obama, huh? CLICK HERE. The experts say such an attack will occur by 2013. CLICK HERE. And among the casualties in Mumbai is the notion that democracies, like India, can simply "opt out" of the global war on Islamic terror. All of us are in this together, like it or not. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD PALIN SEEK A U.S. SENATE SEAT IN 2010 OR RUN FOR REELECTION AS GOVERNOR?
December 2, 2008 - 07:55
She would have to take out Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski in the primary, but the smart money would be on Palin. CLICK HERE. The best route to the White House for Palin is still via the Governor's office. She can waltz to reelection, and can always get the Senate seat in six years by taking it back from the Democrats.
