Starting Dec. 18, hourly flights between the Downtown Manhattan Heliport near Wall Street and the Newark airport will be available, taking eight minutes and costing $159 one way. Continental Airlines, which operates one of its major hubs at Newark, is a partner in the new service, US Helicopter said. Continental passengers can check bags at the heliport with no need to check them again at Newark. The helicopters will land in a secure area at Terminal C, though passengers flying on other airlines using other terminals have to reclaim their bags there...
