Hertz Global Holdings dropped Deutsche Bank from the underwriting team on its coming $1.5 billion initial public offering because of unauthorized e-mail messages sent by an employee of the bank, Hertz said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The problem surfaced last month when several e-mail messages from a Deutsche Bank employee were sent to about 175 institutional accounts, according to the filing.
