U.S. may cut back Iraq troops |
The U.S. military may reduce the number of troops in Iraq after next week's parliamentary elections there, but some of those troops were slated to come home earlier. Meanwhile, others who have not arrived yet in Iraq may get to stay put, a Pentagon source has said.
