Police: 26 die in car bombing
A car bomb exploded Wednesday in a Shiite town north of Baghdad, killing at least 26 people and wounding 70 others, Iraqi police said. Initial reports said the bomb targeted a nearby Shia mosque, but the mosque was closed and most of those killed were at coffee shops and cafes.
