Bush announces choice to replace Ashcroft |
White House legal counsel Alberto Gonzales was Wednesday nominated by President Bush to replace John Ashcroft. If confirmed Gonzales, who worked with Bush in Texas will be the country's first Hispanic attorney general. Ashcroft announced his resignation Tuesday.
