Floods cause 10 deaths, thousands of evacuations |
From upstate New York to the Virginia coast, flooding caused at least 10 deaths Wednesday and forced thousands of people from their homes. The largest evacuation effort came in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where county officials ordered between 150,000 and 200,000 people to evacuate their homes.
