White House defends Bush after WMD report |
The White House on Wednesday reacted angrily to a report that President Bush had cited trailers suspected as biological weapons labs as proof of the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq after intelligence officials knew that the trailers were not part of a WMD program.

Police: 26 die in car bombing |
A car bomb exploded Wednesday in a Shiite town north of Baghdad, killing at least 26 people and wounding 70 others, Iraqi police said. Initial reports said the bomb targeted a nearby Shia mosque, but the mosque was closed and most of those killed were at coffee shops and cafes.
