Bombs kills 5 Marines, 9 Iraqi civilians |
Five U.S. Marines died after a bomb hit their vehicle near Haqlaniya in Anbar province, the Marines said today. Their deaths bring the number of U.S. troops killed in the war to 1,690. In Baghdad, a car bomb exploded, killing nine Iraqi civilians and wounding 15 others, Iraqi security forces said.
